Airport Diversions

On August 2nd Western Nebraska Regional Airport recieved numerous attention from the public eye about military activity in the area, did you know that Scottsbluff, NE KBFF airport can withhold any aircraft as it was a military facility before? The training comes from an allottment from places like Cheyenne Warren AFB or Buckley AFB in Aurora, CO; The training is a monthly issuance an happens from time to time with more activity spanning in the area recently from Choppers landing at RWMC to Air Tankers touch & go’s at the airport;

Furthermore last night Denver International Airport had a ground stop in Colorado with many 737’s an 777’s landing at the airport drawing attention to what was going on, these diversions are caused by Inclement Weather at the international airport in Denver, CO, therefore Scottsbluff, NE or Colorado Springs, CO are the recent diverted airports in Denver’s statistics!
