Rocky Mountain National Park rangers began search efforts for Blake Kieckhafer, 23, of Omaha, Nebraska. Kieckhafer was reported missing to park rangers by family on Monday, August 11.
He was last seen in the Upper Beaver Meadows area of Rocky Mountain National Park on Thursday, August 7 around 5:20 p.m. when he was dropped off by a ride share service. Upper Beaver Meadows Road is located approximately 1-mile west of Beaver Meadows Entrance along U.S. Highway 36 on the east side of the park.
Kieckhafer was last seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, dark-colored pants, and a dark-colored baseball cap with no logo. He was carrying a small, maroon daypack. Kieckhafer is described as 5’11,” 180 pounds, with buzzed/short blonde hair and a mustache, and blue/green eyes.

(LAVISTA, Neb.) – An Omaha mom and aunt are diligently searching for a missing LaVista man, Blake Kieckhafer. Because hs is an adult, it has been difficult to get authorities to assist. They have tracked him from LaVista to Hastings and then to Greeley, Colorado. His phone and debit card have not been used since Thursday afternoon, which is very concerning.

My nephew Blake, age 23, is missing. Last seen Thursday morning in LaVista, NE driving a silver 2011 Hyundai Sonata. His debit card was used in North Platte, NE at a gas station, and he then got an Uber — we don’t know why or where he was headed. We have no word on his whereabouts.
Please, please share this — someone has to have seen him.

We believe he may have had car trouble and may have been in Greeley, Colorado before going to Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park around 6:30 PM on Thursday.

BLAKE KIECKHAFER is STILL missing.
I can understand that this seems like there is a ton of holes in the story, which in return can make it seem untrue. But I can assure that it is in fact true.
The reason there are holes is because there are. We are piecing things together as we get new information. Which result in posts seeming different or because they are being updated as we gain new information.
Uber has been contacted and a report has been filed. From what we know, he took an uber to an O’Rileys in Greeley to get something for his car. Why he didn’t go to a place in North Platte, we don’t know.
Along with the Uber report, he has been filed as a missing person in Greeley, CO.
Last known location for his car is NP as that’s where cameras have been able to place it at. No sight of his car in CO. Yes, most places have cameras. However, that doesn’t mean they are working. Which is exactly what we have ran into after speaking with known places he’s stopped at.
Last bank charges were on Thursday 8/7. NP gas station, Greeley O’Rileys, and national park pass. Nothing after that.
Last outgoing and incoming calls and texts were on 8/7. Nothing after that. Texts won’t go through. Calls go straight to voicemail. We have contacted all friends and those on his recent log. No one knew he was going out of town. Again, not like him to not mention going out town.
The police have been contacted. However, not every department has been helpful. State patrol and Sarpy county have not been all that helpful. But, Sarpy county and NP police department have been willing to work together by being in contact about this thank God! And as I stated before we have an official missing persons report in Greeley, CO. Part of the issue is, that police departments keep giving us, is that they can’t confirm he is missing from their area so they keep pushing us to other areas.
So while I know this seems fake, can we PLEASE put that aside and help us find him. His mother and older brother have been traveling all day across Nebraska and into Colorado to talk to the locations he’s been at and the police departments. Along side his dad staying back and making phones calls all day with everyone he can think of in hopes he will just show up at home.
