The Fun Lives On!

Medica Denton recently posted the following photo in the Facebook group “Everything Nebraska”.

Denton captioned the photo, “An old mine at the base of the hill in Wildcat Hills Estates.”

However, she didn’t get close enough to get the whole story.

As we dug into the comments, we learned the real story…

We learned from the comments that, “This is on Curt and Connie Ernst property, just above there home. My husband was a friend and classmate of them. Curt had told us he carved it out just to see what his neighbors and others would say and think, looks like a mine, but isn’t! A fun conversation piece. He laughed when l just texted and told him that it was posted. He said that his fun lives on!”

As we always say, things are not always what they appear on the surface.
