SWAT Assisted Possession Arrest

(BIG SPRINGS, Neb.) — On November 14, 2025, shortly after 0900 hours, the Deuel County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Nebraska State Patrol SWAT Team, executed a search warrant at 604 Chestnut Street, Big Springs, Nebraska.

At the conclusion of the search warrant, the following individuals were arrested without incident:

Darrell Hyberg III (DOB 05/11/1999)

Taylor Grafford (DOB 03/04/1987)

Both individuals were taken into custody on the following charges:

• Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
• Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Obstructing law enforcement

During the operation, South Platte School was notified and placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure. After the search warrant was completed and the scene was deemed secure, the school was notified, and the lockdown was lifted.
