(MITCHELL, Neb.) — Legion Combat Sports returns to the Mitchell Events Center on Friday, February 28 with LCS 36: Out Cold, delivering a full-scale fight weekend featuring a full card of MMA action, a No-Gi submission-only Jiu Jitsu tournament, youth wrestling, and a post-fight celebration.
The event will be headlined by a highly anticipated 220-pound title fight rematch between Hunter Ziegler (Mitchell, NE) and Logan “Hammerhead” Weiss (Scottsbluff, NE) — two local fan favorites who delivered an unforgettable first matchup and now meet again with a championship belt on the line.
In addition to the title fight, the card features strong representation from the local and regional fight community, including competitors from right here in the Panhandle, North Platte, Omaha, Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota.
Local and regional fighters scheduled to compete include: Marquiz Barraza, Jon Knouse, Colby Frith, Joseph Ybarra, Ernesto Urban, Garrett Shuey, Christopher Snyder, and the championship match up between Hunter Ziegler and Logan Weiss.
Additional fight announcements will continue to be released leading up to the event, available on the Legion Combat Sports Facebook page.
