(SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY, Neb.) — Back in September of 2025, a call came across the scanner pertaining to a domestic dispute involving a weapon which resulted in charges being filed for domestic assault. A Motion to Dismiss was filed on behalf of the accused and the result of the motion can be seen below.

(MORRILL, Neb.) — Following a detailed investigation into a reported domestic assault involving a weapon on September 22, 2025, involving Kelly Mason Davis, the Scotts Bluff District Attorney’s Office has closed the case and dismissed all charges with prejudice on March 25th, 2026. This decision follows a careful examination of the facts, evidence, and circumstances surrounding the incident.

The dismissal with prejudice ensures that the case against Kelly Mason-Davis is permanently resolved and cannot be reopened. The Scotts Bluff District Attorney’s office is committed to making decisions based on facts, not assumptions, or the fabrication of events.
