HUSA Jun 3 2026 – Oklahoma Wheat Report

It’s time to take a look again where those harvest crews are even though things have been very strange on the start to the 2026 season.

Most folks forgo even heading to Texas, but it looks like Mitchell Harvesting just finished up there. They finished up the wheat harvest just yesterday in Texas, and they have the combines all cleaned up and ready to head to Kansas.

But first, before we jump over Oklahoma to get to Kansas, let’s look at that Oklahoma wheat crop update. It’s moving, but this crop is showing just how much drought, spring heat and scattered rain can change the story from field to field.

In the current Oklahoma wheat crop update from the Oklahoma Wheat Commission, Dave Deacon reports from Noble County as combines continue rolling across the state. Pete Mathiasson of Mathiasson Farms near Billings shares what he is seeing in the field, and Dr. Todd Hubs, Oklahoma State University Extension grain marketing specialist breaks down what Oklahoma wheat producers should know about prices, basis, global supply and demand. This update is for producers, grain handlers, rural communities and anyone who wants a clearer look at how Oklahoma wheat moves from field to field to the elevator, and why this year’s crop matters beyond the farm gate. Follow the Oklahoma Wheat Commission for more harvest updates right there on the Harvest USA report Facebook page. That’s the Oklahoma wheat crop update.

And speaking of that Facebook page on Harvest USA report, there’s a fantastic video from the Australian Harvest that you have got to go take a look at. It’s from Borg Harvesting in New South Wales. It’s a cool looking video.Harvest USA report. Make sure you follow us while you’re there.
