LEO Scam Alert

(ALLIANCE, Neb.) -- The Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of an ongoing phone scam involving individuals impersonating law enforcement officers from this agency.

Brushing Scam

CAUTION: If you received a package containing items you didn't order, beware. You may be the victim of a brushing scam.

Used Equipment SCAM

(COLUMBUS, Neb.) - There is a new "non existent" company in Columbus that has hit the internet, Wesson Equipment.

Fradulent Emails

On July 24, 2025, the Scottsbluff Police Department received reports of fraudulent emails being sent from an address falsely claiming affiliation with the City of Scottsbluff. These emails contain fake invoices requesting payment.

SCAM Warnings

(Alliance, Neb.) — The Alliance Police Department (APD) is warning the community about an active scam in which individuals posing as members of the APD are attempting to extort money from citizens.
