(GERING, Nebr.) — This just in this afternoon; Mario Blanco Found Guilty.

Mario Blanco was accused of sexual assault on a minor during the summer of 2021. After interviews with child advocates, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Blanco was then arrested on a warrant in March of 2022. The trial started in December with a decision coming from the jury Monday afternoon, January 30, 2023.

Mario Blanco has been found guilty of assault on a minor child.

Digging deeper into Blanco’s past, we see three prior serious convictions in the State of Nebraska between 2007 and 2021.

DCS id 66437 from the Nebraska Department of Corrections shows a felony conviction for possession of methamphetamine. He served a sentence from August 7, 2007 to February 29, 2008, six months.

DCS id 70886 shows possession of hydrocodone. He served from January 26, 2010 to June 18, 2010, five months.

DCS id 88892 shows two convictions for drug distribution. Felony distribution and possession of cocaine and Felony distribution and possession of methamphetamine. He served January 4, 2019 to August 26, 2021. One year, seven months.

We can now add assault on a minor to Blanco’s convictions in Nebraska. Blanco’s sentencing has been set for March.
