SCANNER RECAP March 31, 2023

Nighttime Prowlers Getting Bold, Multiple Car Accidents, CERT Disaster Psychology Training, and more every day on Scotts Bluff County Scanner.

Remember, scanner traffic is not news until confirmed, and eyewitness accounts are often unreliable. All parties remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

All it takes for a society to collapse is for good people to do nothing.

Local Disaster Training

Michael Blu, teaching Disaster Psychology for the CERT training Friday night.

Michael Blu taught Disaster Psychology for the CERT training Friday night. More training is scheduled for Saturday. Several of our Scanner Followers and Insiders are CERT qualified, and we encourage every citizen to take this valuable training.

Training is held at the Public Safety Building 18th & Ave B. – Police department building.

E-4B Nightwatch

The screenshot below is a recent one from Lincoln, but this same system has been used locally to help locate missing persons.

Why it’s cool: The E-4B “Nightwatch” is an airborne mobile command post, made to be a secure location from which the country’s leadership can operate. It’s designed to survive an electromagnetic pulse and is outfitted with many active counter measures.

E-4B Nightwatch

Why it’s funny: The callsign “ORDER66” is a Star Wars reference. Order 66 was a top secret order identifying all Jedi as traitors to the Galactic Republic and, therefore, subject to summary execution by the Grand Army of the Republic.

Anyone seen Bob Marley?

These criminals are getting bold. One scanner follower said, “Find Bob Marley, and you’ll find your thief.”

Let’s all be on the lookout for nighttime troublemakers and put these criminals behind bars.

Shooting from Sunday in Minatare

3 gunshots can be heard in this video from Sunday night in Minatare.

Call 911 if you see any suspicious activity in your neighborhood.
