The National Association of Letter Carriers of Scottsbluff invites you to participate in a community wide food drive for our local food banks!

You can be a part of this by simply dropping off bags of non-perishable food items to the Scottsbluff or Gering post office or leave the bags near your mailbox Saturday May 13th until 4:30 pm.

7:28 am – male wearing all black hanging over the side of railing on the river bridge by WTT

10:42 am – Gering EMS needed 18th and O for a female highly intoxicated

12:12 pm – cow on highway by high plains feed lot

12:33 pm – E 11th woman stuck in her car by a stray pit bull

12:35 pm – highway 92 male walking on highway

12:53 pm – non injury accident

1:09 pm – Ave G report of child abuse

1:10 pm – animal complaint 6th ave

1:18 pm – Suspicious circumstances

1:21 pm – Need transport for female E. 20th

1:31 pm – 2 vehicle accident, Oshkosh, NSP call

2:17 pm – 5 Rocks and D Male possibly trying to hitchhike

2:27 pm – Need floor dry at the accident in Oshkosh to soak up oil.

2:28 pm – No longer needed. Tire shop took care of it.

2:40 pm – vandalism Chinoe Road

3:01 pm – Mental breakdown. Husband, wife wants transported.

3:02 pm – Minatare EMS Ave A for elderly male who fell

3:14 pm – Female in the alley way west of Rebecca Winters, female refusing medical help

3:28 pm – juvenile messing with sprinkles at Gardner Park

3:50 pm – EMS and rescue activity at RC Scot apartments e 17 st (pic)

3:52 pm – Nancy Ct. Neighbors kids harassing her dog

6:39 pm – Verbal disturbance 10th Ave. Between a lady and her son in law. She wants him to leave and he won’t.

6:59 pm – something about a stolen phone in Mitchell.

7:14 pm – sheriff going to spring creek to try and locate the suspect.

8:00 pm – Gering Senior Center door wide open and grey van outside. Van belongs to Aging office. No one should be there at this time. They didn’t see anyone inside, so they closed the door and left.

8:28 pm – Out with a disturbance at City street shop.

8:47 pm – 10-44 Hwy 26 mm 2, deer hit in roadway, still breathing unable to move

8:51 pm – 26th and Broadway, disturbance, 10-12 won’t leave, ex beating on her door.

9:30 pm – suspicious circumstances rp wants officer to 54 the area

10:08 pm – E Overland stray dog

11:00 pm -12th Ave rp stating domestic, deputies searching for the male involved.

11:04 pm – 1 male in custody

11:19 pm – Ave H rp requesting assistance sons exgirlfriend threatening to break out windows and beat him up

11:57 pm – 14th and ave F, loud gun shot

12:27 am – rollover in the ditch, vehicle totaled, seat belt use unknown.

Nebraska State Patrol SWAT

The NSP SWAT Team trains together regularly on a multitude of potential response scenarios. Last night they were training on hostage rescues in low-light situations.

With team members based across Nebraska, NSP SWAT is able to respond to assist local agencies statewide.
