The National Association of Letter Carriers of Scottsbluff invites you to participate in a community wide food drive for our local food banks!
You can be a part of this by simply dropping off bags of non-perishable food items to the Scottsbluff or Gering post office or leave the bags near your mailbox Saturday May 13th until 4:30 pm.

- 6:52 am – Riverside Zoo Campground wanting someone trespassed for non-payment!
- 7:41 am – Truck accident by 4 way stop at sugar factory
- 10:26 am – 911 hang up close to L street in Gering. Male with Spanish Accent, female yelling at him in the back.
- 10:30 am – EMS at day care, 13th St. and 17th Ave. Mitchell, 44 year old possible seizure
- 10:48 am – Gering EMS O St. 78 year old male difficulty breathing
- 1:26 pm – Cirrus office criminal mischief
- 1;33 pm – White Honda civic flashing a gun at others, Hwy 26 mile marker 33, Colorado plates.
- 1:37 pm – Vehicle is now turning towards bayard, Caller driving gold Honda Odyssey 64 plates turning towards Bayard, suspect has pulled over on side of road
- 1:45 pm – Suspect is now out of the vehicle with a knife on his side. Both parties are now on the phone the guy with the gun said he thought the other person was following him. White Honda parked on the shoulder and the guy with the gun is still going. Trooper is telling communication to tell him to pull over as well.
- 1:50 pm – Attempting a high risk stop. Spike strips it is!! One male detained.
- 1:54 pm – 7th Street Gering fire rescue female history of strokes, difficulty breathing.
- 3:32 pm – 104 people are listening to Dawes county. Asking for a negotiator. All surrounding areas didn’t have a negotiator on the clock. Trooper just asked if they needed help up there and they said to respond but no rush and went to a secure channel. Their was a standoff with a guy that had a knife in Chadron.
- 2:03 pm – Injury accident Adams Ave and Hamilton in Morrill. Both cars are totaled and the drivers are ok
- 3:44 pm – Vehicle vs building at Pony Express no injuries.
- 3:35 pm – 10:15 female, $1600 shoplifting
- 4:56 pm – Partial trauma team activated, Helicopter landing
- 8:20 pm – Rotation indicated on the radar North West Kimball heading to Banner county. Tornado warning until 845
- National weather service stated quarter size hail and up to 60 mile an hour winds with storm. See some rotation but that is all.
- OH HAIL in western Banner County. Mostly pea size and up.A few golf ball size.
- 9:49 pm – Loud music and dogs Barking for hours.
- 10:06 pm – Large group south side of RC Scott possible disturbance. Two of the males had their shirts off. Looking for plates on a blue blazer, gave to male names. One has a warrant that came out today. They are involved. One male arrested.
