On May 12, the Chadron Federal Credit Union was robbed by a male suspect.
The male suspect fled the bank on foot, but during the course of the investigation, investigators with the Chadron Police Department were able to identify a suspected vehicle used in the robbery. Additionally, investigators have developed a suspect in the case. The suspect is believed to be out of our region and possibly in a state located in the southern United States.
The Chadron Police Department is working with federal law enforcement agencies in order to locate the suspect and the suspected vehicle used in the robbery.
At this time, the suspect’s name will not be provided due to investigatory purposes, as the investigation is ongoing.
