Artic Blast Timeline

By NWS Cheyenne

🥶6AM 1/14 Update – We still have a ways to go to get through this arctic blast. Here’s a look at temperature and wind chill forecast timelines for a few locations across our area through Wednesday.

🥶 Today won’t be quite as cold as Saturday, with most locations having a fighting chance at breaking 0F. Snow will taper off this morning, leading us into a lull for the afternoon hours.

🥶🥶🥶 Unfortunately, another stronger push of arctic air will arrive late this evening, and will bring with it another round of light snow into Monday morning. Expect a bitterly cold day Monday with highs below zero once again for most locations.

🌤️ After a brutally cold Tuesday morning, we’ll finally break out of this arctic cold Tuesday afternoon. While it won’t be warm by any definition, highs in the teens and 20s might feel pretty nice compared to the weekend cold!
