Power Outage Restored

A large power outage that affected over four thousand in our state capitol has been restored. Here’s the release from the Lincoln Police Department yesterday.


(LINCOLN, Neb.) — POWER OUTAGE : The Lincoln Emergency Communications Center (LECC) is aware of a power outage impacting about 4,000 residents after a transformer blew this afternoon. The outage is impacting homes, businesses, and some traffic lights in the areas listed below. We’re told Lincoln Electric System is working to fix the issue.

▪️ 90th to 120th – between A Street and Holdrege
▪️ 81st to 93rd – between Sunridge and Cherrywood
▪️ 68th to 98th – between O Street and Holdrege
▪️ Hadford to 84th – between P Street and Englewood

We will update this post once we hear power has been restored.
