Meth, Weapon and DUS

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — On February 18, 2024, just before midnight, the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle passing in a no passing zone.

This resulted in the arrest of Manuel Vargas (42) for possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, a prohibited person carrying a concealed weapon and driving under revocation.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
