Valentine Hostage Incident

UPDATE : During the overnight hours, the Valentine Police Department responded to the 700 block of Hall Street regarding an armed barricaded subject with possible hostages.

The matter was resolved without incident, and the person was taken into custody.

The Valentine Police Department was assisted by the Cherry County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol.
