Brief Power Outage Restored

(BAYARD, Neb.) — Several Bayard area residents were without power for a short time today.

Chimney rock public power district advised customers that they were currently experiencing an outage in the area east and north of Bayard due to a downed power line.  

Duane Red Bear reported that a power line was down on an Angora Hill at the 62A Link.

The linemen have been dispatched to that area, they wrote.

A short time later, “Power has been restored.”
