3rd Quarter Winner Announced

(SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb.) — This favorite local small business in the Panhandle contest that we dreamed up about 2 years ago has really turned into a popular feature on Panhandle Scanner, with over 300 businesses being discovered and promoted each Saturday.

We feel that every week should be Small Business Saturday or as we call it #ScannerSaturday.

Since we are a local business promoting other local businesses, it’s only fitting for us to promote this on one of the most read news pages in the Panhandle.

Here’s what happened for 3rd quarter 2024…

Despite Yoshi’s leading for five of the 10 weeks, and the fact that Gus Gus Grill was leading heavily the final two weeks… it was Frankie’s that pulled it out with a huge victory tallying 44 votes compared to 35 for Gus Gus Grill. Three companies tied with 34; Yoshi’s, Country Charm Floral & Gifts, and Arthur’s Pizza.

Like our six previous quarterly winners, Frankie’s Bar and Grill will receive a marketing and promotional package from Hale Multimedia valued at $500. You will see their logo year-round until next year’s third quarter winner replaces them.

With Frankie’s victory this quarter and Golden Hours’ win last quarter, that makes two businesses outside of Scotts Bluff County to claim the title.
