(LINCOLN, Neb.) – Many of you have seen the snow plow meme that has been floating around social media.

Clever names like CTRL – SALT – DELETE are fun and lighten the mood of drivers who get stuck behind one of these big boys. Nebraska Department of Transportation held it’s “Name A Snowplow” contest again this year and annouced the winners below. We’ve certainly got some inventive youth in our Nebraska schools!

The results are in for NDOT’s 4th annual “Name A Snowplow” contest, and the creativity of Nebraska’s students has hit an all-time high! With over 1,300 submissions this year—a record-breaking number—we’re thrilled to introduce the winning snowplow names:

NDOT district teams visited the winning schools to celebrate with students, showcasing their newly named snowplows and sharing insights on how we keep roads safe during winter weather.
