Early Morning Structure Fire

(CHADRON, Neb.) — A third party report of a structure fire came in to the Chadron Volunteer Fire Department early Saturday morning, January 25. At 1:45 a.m., the fire crews were dispatched to battle a structure fire on the 100 block of Chapin Street.

Responders quickly contained the blaze, with minimal damage to surrounding properties reported. All CVFD units were released from the scene by 5:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
