🌌Stargazers, mark your calendars!🌌
Here are the top celestial events to look out for:
💫Feb 20-28: Grand Planetary Alignment: All seven planets will be visible in the sky simultaneously! Right after sunset, you’ll see Venus, Jupiter, and Mars glowing brightly. Saturn and Mercury, however, will hug the western horizon, so you’ll need a clear view to catch a glimpse of them.
🌕Mar 14: Total Lunar Eclipse (Blood Moon) – Prepare for a stunning Blood Moon event! This total lunar eclipse will paint the night sky visible from the Americas, Antarctica, Alaska, and select regions in Africa.
🪐Mar 23: Saturn’s Ring Plane Crossing – For a brief period, Saturn’s rings will vanish from sight as we catch them edge-on from our vantage point on Earth!
🌑Mar 29: Partial Solar Eclipse – At its height, the Moon will obscure up to 93% of the Sun! ☀️🌑 This eclipse will stretch over nearly four hours, beginning at 4:51 AM EDT, and can be seen from regions in the Americas, Europe, and Africa.
☄️Apr 22: Lyrid Meteor Shower – Experience a spectacular meteor shower with 10-15 meteors streaking across the sky each hour! 🌠 For the best viewing, look for meteors before midnight, as the radiant is up early, and before the bright crescent Moon ascends post-midnight.
🌙 Apr 25: Triple Conjunction – The waning crescent Moon will line up with Venus and Saturn, creating a charming ‘smiley face’ in the sky!
🌌 May your skies be clear and your sights be bright! Enjoy your stargazing adventure 💜
