CO Detector Call

(MITCHELL, Neb.) — The Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department serves the community in a lot of ways. Everyone knows they go to fight fires, but they also respond to many different types of calls.

Last night at 8:25 p.m. MVFD responded to a carbon monoxide detector going off in a house on Elizabeth Drive.

It was determined that it more than likely originated from the attached garage but Black Hills Energy was called to check the heating system.

MVFD responded with two trucks and seven personnel.
