(BUTTE, Neb.) — A Nebraska teenage girl has been reported as a missing runaway.

MADALYN REISER – age 17

Madalyn has not been seen by her custodial parent since February 26, 2025

Madalyn was seen on March 3 and law enforcement was not contacted to validate her safety.

Madalyn is a runaway and is not believed to be in immediate danger at this time.

Law Enforcement must make contact to validate Madalyn’s safety.

Last night, Scanner traffic indicated in Gering near Ponderosa Drive, a third party from Colorado had requested a welfare check on her sister in reference to the statements that she made. The female was barricaded in the basement and possibly armed. No further traffic was heard on that incident, so stay tuned today to Panhandle Scanner for a follow-up on that story. With the drought conditions in Nebraska, any amount of rainfall could cause flash flooding due to the hardness of the ground. Avoid low-lying areas and do not drive through flooded roads.
