I-80 Two State Pursuit

(KIMBALL, Neb) – Two women trying to escape arrest in Wyoming ended up in a ditch at gunpoint.

10:17 a.m. – Pine Bluffs Wyoming law enforcement were in pursuit of a gray Nissan. Traveling 106 mph on I-80 eastbound, mile marker 4. Kimball County deputies are all unavailable (at the time of the original call). Nebraska State Patrol will pick up the pursuit.

10:23 a.m. – State Trooper spotted that car at mile marker 13. He should have it stopped soon.

With license plate readers and communications across the state, it is absolutely brainless to run from our brave law enforcement, putting innocent lives at risk. We pray that they stop the vehicle safely and soon. Even if they don’t catch up for now, he’ll get a visit later.

Another Trooper has joined the pursuit. Mile marker 20 eastbound.

Off ramp mile marker 22, turnaround…

Requesting spikes

Troopers are now westbound on I-80, speeds 109 mph.

Speeds 112, passing on the shoulder. Westbound I-80. Mile marker 18.

10:32 a.m. – Vehicle crashed out, shoulder, mile marker 18.

We’ve got two at gunpoint, two at gunpoint.

Two females 10-15 (in custody), cancel ambulance.

As always, we appreciate the service of all agencies; which did include Kimball County Sheriff’s Office (in case we gave the impression earlier that they weren’t involved).
