Rollover Involving Juveniles

(MORRILL COUNTY, Neb.) — The family connection app, commonly known as Life360, made recent headlines in a rescue call involving juveniles and a rollover.

At Panhandle Scanner, we have been recommending the mobile app called Life360 for more than a decade. It has saved us countless times.

From Morrill County Sheriff’s Office

“On August 13, 2025, at approximately 10:22 p.m., the Morrill County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Life 360 regarding a possible vehicle accident on County Road 105 near County Road 104.

Deputies responded to the area and located a vehicle that had rolled onto its top. The vehicle was occupied by two juveniles.

One juvenile was transported to Morrill County Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates both occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. It appears the vehicle lost control while negotiating a curve in the roadway.

The Morrill County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind all drivers to slow down when approaching curves, especially on rural roads, and to always wear a seatbelt.”

The mother of one of the kids commented:

Brandy Lee Nelson-Conley ~ This call involved one of my boys and our “adopted son”, best friends with all our boys! I am so thankful for this app! The boys are doing good. It even called everyone who is in our app, even way over In Hawaii, After calling 911. This app does have a free feature but also paid features that add more information and protections, so that is actually what we opted for.
