Some Hobbies Not For Lobbies

(SCOTTSBLUF, Neb.) — A story first reported in April has come to a conclusion. William Lozoya (18 at the time of the offence) was sentenced to a $500 fine and 7 days in jail for Public Indecency.

On Tuesday, August 28, Losoya was found Guilty by Honorable Judge Worden after entering a No Contest plea. Lozoya showed up in person alongside two more inmates from Scotts Bluff County Detention Center to receive his sentencing. The Judge noted the defendant had been incarcerated for the past two weeks. He ordered time served to be applied to the sentencing, allowing him to be released the same day.

Originally on April 4, 2025, the Communication Center was advised that Hobby Lobby had footage of a male individual exposing himself the day prior. The caller stated he did not see anyone in the aisle with him, nor did he obtain contact information. The footage shown shows a male wearing a brown hat, tan long sleeve shirt and tan cargo pants entering Hobby Lobby at 6:48 p.m., walk to the jewelry aisle at 6:54 p.m. that’s when he touches himself. Then he exits the store without purchasing anything at approximately 7:00 p.m.

On April 12 Communication Center received a call in reference to the male subject the Scottsbluf PD was looking for. Officers then made contact with the father of the subject who attempted to call William, but no answer.

The next day William was located at his residence and read his Miranda Rights. During questioning he admitted to going to Hobby Lobby, but denied the allegations. Officers showed the subject pictures. William was cited and ordered to appear on August 12, which he failed to do and was issued a warrant for his arrest.
