Gordon Injury Accident

(GORDON, Neb.) — A pickup collided with a semi near the intersection of Highway 20 and Cornell Street at approximately 8 a.m. Monday morning.

Sheridan County Deputies responded to the scene. Their initial investigation revealed that the pickup was traveling west on Highway 20 when a semi pulling a grain trailer failed to yield and struck it.

Both drivers were injured and transported to the hospital, although the pickup driver’s injuries were more severe. A diesel spill delayed the flow of traffic, rerouting it for close to an hour and a half.
