(GERING, Neb.) — A Gering man was sentenced to jail Wednesday following a domestic incident earlier this year.
Brandon L. White Crane, 30, pled no contest Sept. 30, 2026, in Scotts Bluff County Court to an amended charge of Attempt of a Class 1 Misdemeanor.
Judge Michael W. Meister sentenced White Crane to 130 days in jail, with credit for 132 days already served. An additional charge of obstructing a peace officer was dismissed.
According to an affidavit filed by the Scottsbluff Police Department, officers responded May 22, 2026, to a residence on Terry Boulevard in Gering for a reported domestic assault.
Investigating officers noted the female victim had visible facial and bodily injuries.
White Crane was medically cleared at Regional West Medical Center before being booked into the Scotts Bluff County Jail.
