HUSA Jul 20 2026 – Harvest Updates

Welcome to the Harvest USA Report. I’m Brian Hale.

An original production of Howard Hale Broadcasting, now expanded throughout North America. Let’s take a look at where those harvest crews are. It looks like Hale Harvesting was down in North Central Oklahoma, where it was very green.

And their swather had been sitting for the last month. They pulled out the header trailer out of the weeds growing around it, unhooked the header hydraulics, and got the header ready to set on the trailer, and then moved everything out to the road. There are definitely some soft spots in these fields.

They said, we sure didn’t want to get stuck trying to pull out loaded trailers onto the roads. We were fortunate that there was no traffic, and with that, we headed back home. Adios, North Central Oklahoma.

That’s from Hale Harvesting. Russell’s Custom Harvesting is getting ready to relocate. They started their day trip through the badlands and drove around North Dakota looking at wheat.

Thacker Harvesting was in Montana. They said their Montana harvest is coming in quite a bit better than they had initially expected, and they’ve decided to run an extra machine over it. With that being said, they do need another operator.

Ferris Harvesting is getting busy. They were at home cutting, had a heck of a storm roll through, and at that time they were caught up to the green wheat, so they were able to help out with the damage around town. They joked, might as well call us Ferris Tree Service now.

But we are very thankful for the rain. The fall crops are looking great. That’s from Ferris Harvesting in Colby, Kansas.

C&K Harvesting and Trucking finished up in Kansas a couple of weeks ago, and then moved up to Nebraska. Spent a couple of days there checking out the drought-stricken crops and visiting friends. Continued their move north and then with a pit stop in the Black Hills to check out the sites, including the faces.
