Jesper Hansen, speaking from Scobey, Montana, said his crew is finishing soybean harvest at home and expects to be done by the next day. They have also been harvesting near the North Dakota border, with soybean yields around 30–40 bushels per acre.

– The main concern is incoming weather: rain is expected Friday, followed by daytime temperatures dropping into the 30s and 40s next week. Because of this, they are hurrying to finish soybeans before conditions worsen.

– Hansen said his crew in South Dakota finished soybeans 8–10 days earlier and has already moved strongly into corn harvest.
