Well, the weekend was full of football games and other sports. Thursday and Friday, in fact. Winners included Scotts Bluff, Minotaur, Kimball, Sidney, Shadron, Bridgeport, Garden County, and Potter Dix in gridiron action.

As well as the Alliance stabbing arrest, the trucker booked in the Wyoming case, two arrested for drugs in Kimball, range qualifications in Sidney, drone coverage concerns, large grass fire and lightning strikes that sent several to the hospital. All in the Sunday Scanner. And then on Sunday, Scanner traffic indicated cows out in Minotaur and an animal bite in rural Minotaur.

And what we thought was an injury accident at the 900 block of 12th Avenue in Scotts Bluff, an eyewitness on scene that lives nearby wrote to us and said, it was a two vehicle accident and luckily no one was injured. It was a Toyota and a Mustang. The young driver that was driving the Toyota was at fault for failing to yield to the right and he got cited for driving with an expired driver’s license.

That was from a different state and it was his uncle’s car. The lady was driving a red Mustang and she had a young child in the backseat. Luckily no one was injured.

Everyone got checked out by EMS and both cars were towed from the scene as they were not drivable. A report from the scene from an eyewitness. The nature of Panhandle Scanner News.
