Investigation Leads to Additional Drug Charges

(FALLS CITY, Neb.) — An investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in Falls City has resulted in additional charges against two people, according to the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation began in July 2026. On Friday, Sept. 4, deputies executed a search warrant at 710 Fulton St. in Falls City, where they located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Following the search, Stacey O’Banion, 44, of Falls City, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school.

Later that same day, deputies arrested Ty Larson, 29, of Falls City, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance, identified as methamphetamine.

The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation concluded Sept. 10. An arrest warrant was issued for O’Banion on charges of delivery of an exceptionally hazardous drug, methamphetamine, within 1,000 feet of a school; possession of money during a drug crime; and unlawful acts relating to drugs.

An arrest warrant was also issued for Larson on two counts of delivery of an exceptionally hazardous drug, methamphetamine, within 1,000 feet of a school; two counts of possession of money during a drug crime; and two counts of unlawful acts relating to drugs.

The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office did not provide additional information about the investigation or the status of the warrants.

All suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
