Two Arrested After Drug Investigation

(OSHKOSH, Neb.) — Two Oshkosh residents were arrested following a suspicious activity report that led Garden County Sheriff’s Office deputies to a residence and the execution of a search warrant.

According to a press release from the Garden County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Sept. 4 to a residence in Oshkosh regarding a report of suspicious activity.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Kimberly Crowe, 39, and Kenneth Crowe, 43. During the investigation, deputies reported observing suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the residence.

A search warrant was subsequently obtained and executed. Deputies reported recovering suspected methamphetamine, various drug paraphernalia, drug-related packaging, a firearm and ammunition.

Kimberly Crowe and Kenneth Crowe were arrested and lodged on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are pending, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Garden County Sheriff’s Office reminded residents that investigations into illegal drug activity often begin with a call from a concerned citizen and encouraged anyone with information regarding illegal drug activity to contact local law enforcement.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
