Mitchell Trailer Fire
(MITCHELL, Nebr.) — Local firefighters responded to and knocked down a trailer fire in fast order in Mitchell on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, there was also scanner traffic indicating that a Firefighter was taken to the hospital. Our prayers are with all involved.
The abandoned trailer at 1039 13th Street, and across the street from one of our primary Scanner Insiders, was a total loss.
CORRECTION / UPDATE
Fatal Call in Bayard
Scanner traffic indicated a code blue around 11:40 am with CPR being administered on the way to RWMC.
The Scanner has obtained information that the initial call of a ladder fall may NOT have been correct, as in most initial scanner traffic.
We cannot confirm the nature of this call at this time. We will wait for authorities to issue a press release with any further details.
Rollover Accident
4:33 pm – CR 24 and Lake Minatare Rd, one vehicle rollover, vehicle is smoking.
This car was traveling West when a Ford F-150 traveling East swerved into their lane and hit the front drivers side. The Ford ended up a quarter mile down the road.

10:39 am – 13th Ave Mitchell. Structure fire. Mutual Aid from Morrill and Scottsbluff Rural.
11:41 am – Lady at ringdown phone says she has video of a guy on her property. Again apparently another cop took a theft report the other day.
11:42 am – Code Blue coming in from Bayard. CPR in progress. They just called trauma team activation in ER, ETA 10 minutes. Bayard brought in a male who fell and was Code Blue coming in.
12:33 pm – Valley Requesting SB Rural on County Road 24 for a 68 year old male who fell down 12 stairs and hit his head.
They now canceled SB Rural on CR 24.
12:50 pm – fire is out
1:38 pm – Hwy 26 and Ave B, subject lost things off her truck, needs traffic control
1:12 pm – I believe they just said they are going to be taking one of the fireman to RWMC from the Mitchell Fire.
4:03 pm – I see lights like cop lights down by the Dollar General by 9th Ave at Roosevelt Elementary School just down the street from me. I’m not sure what happened
4:33 pm – CR 24 and Lake Minatare Rd, one vehicle rollover, vehicle is smoking.
6:21 pm – Ambulance at airport unknown what’s going on
6:27 pm – Semi on fire by Lyman. At Masek Trucking, South of CR J off of 92. Single semi fully engulfed
7:08 pm – Active seizure with Valley Amb
Bolt Cutting Night Prowler
9:11 pm – Scottsbluff pd says the suspect they had for something in Terrytown north of his residence in Gering crawling up in the trees wearing a white mask carrying bolt cutters
He wants Gering to go check, he has footage on his phone of him. Asking for Sheriffs K9
Night Vision googles, crawling in evergreens. They said getting reports since 3:30 am about same guy. Male took off running down alley. I think they said on 1900 block, Country Club, and Applewood.
Requesting drone
Been known to climb the trees. No heat signatures in the tree row. They think he is the guy that has been breaking into the garages the last few days. He was hiding in a tree with a mask and bolt cutters.

9:45 pm – MVA Car vs Cow. Cow deceased in the roadway, mile marker 10 on Hwy 92
10:33 pm – female either got pushed out of or jumped out of her ex-husbands moving car on 2nd Ave. Now stating he pulled over and made her get out of the car. Some pop was thrown… and now is just listed as a verbal disturbance.
10:35 pm – Vehicle going southbound in the northbound lanes. Vehicle is now pulled over.
10:42 pm – On 15th. Female trying to climb rps fence and she is growling.
11:03 pm – West Overland and Avenue I. Person on a bike almost got hit by a car when they swerved up on the sidewalk. Car turned into Big Bats. Unable to locate the car or the bike.
11:30 pm – 10th St motion sensor constantly going off
