Guardians of Freedom Airshow named Military Air Show of the Year

The 2023 Guardians of Freedom Airshow was named the Military Air Show of the Year by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels!

We learned today from our friends at the 155th Air Refueling Wing that the 2023 Lincoln Airshow were named the Military Air Show of the Year by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

We couldn’t be more proud of every agency involved and the teamwork it took to make this possible – Lincoln Airport, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, City of Lincoln Government, Lincoln Fire & Rescue, Nebraska State Patrol, all our military partners and so many more.

#LPD was just one part of the security component to keep the show safe. We were honored to help make it a success along with all our partners. Thank you to everyone who showed up to enjoy the airshow and all the volunteers who worked with our organizations to have a successful weekend!
