About Them
Elliot grew up in Morrill with a lifelong passion for farming. Alongside his job with the Sioux County Road Department, he grows organic corn, potatoes, and organic chicken feed, plus sells straw (both small & round bales).
Melanie, originally from New York, has been working on dairies since age 15. She manages the dairy, animals, and co-manages the Morrill Farmers Market with Cassie Little. Melanie has a heart for her community and is passionate about bringing people together.
She also serves as store manager at Rural Roots Market and is the first in Nebraska to achieve the RAWMI Gold Standard for raw milk , making their dairy the most trusted raw milk source in western Nebraska!

The Chapman’s have been farming for 20+ years, with their dairy running strong for nearly six.
Rural Roots Market, brand new this year, brings the community a wide variety of locally raised and made goods:
