Update 9/17 730PM
There isn’t much new updates today, besides we know they were seen alive and well Friday morning. This gives us one more night we know they were safe. We think now that they slept in car Thursday, tried out new spot Friday morning where they were spotted, didn’t like it as much – and came back to main trailhead they’d been at Friday by 11AM. We had amazing turnout and very dedicated efforts by all involved. We had a Blackhawk out today, 58 teams of 3 ground pounders, horses, another helicopter and dedicated people coordinating.
70 people with Colorado SAR are coming tomorrow, along with dog teams, horses and people on foot. We are praying every moment. We know they’re very strong and capable guys. We just keep praying. Keep sharing the word, don’t let this momentum settle, let’s find our guys. Tomorrow is a new day.
