Child Abuse Arrest

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — A 38 year old Kimball man has been arrested on child abuse charges. The following is a press release from the Kimball Police Department.

On November 15, 2025, officers with the Kimball Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the 700 block of Chestnut Street.

Following the investigation, probable cause was established to arrest Steven Nunley, age 38, on the charge of Child Abuse. Officers attempted to make contact with Nunley at his residence however, Nunley did not answer the door. A search warrant was granted on the residence to make entry and take Nunley into custody. Prior to making entry, Nunley exited the residence and was arrested without incident.
