(KIMBALL, Neb.) — Two individuals have been arrested on child abuse charges out of Kimball. The following is a press release from the Kimball Police Department.
PRESS RELEASE
On November 19, 2025, officers with the Kimball Police Department responded to a report of child abuse in the 400 block of South Oak Street.
Upon further investigation, probable cause was established to arrest Becki Russi (31) and Christopher Stewart (29). Russi was charged with 3 counts of child abuse and Stewart was charged with 2 counts of child abuse.
Officers initiated a child abuse investigation following concerning reports from a juvenile. A forensic interview was conducted with our partners at Capstone in Gering, prompting a response to the residence with DHHS. Russi and Stewart were arrested on scene.
We appreciate the assistance of the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office in this matter.
