Unfortunately, competition flights are cancelled again for this morning. The U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championships was on hold again this morning and was eventually cancelled. It’s a thrill to have the U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championships here in our community, but it is a highly weather-dependent activity. And although the balloons won’t be up in the air, they can be viewed.
It may look a little strange today with the full solar eclipse happening around the world. Unfortunately, most of us in North America will not see the full eclipse, but do be prepared for some weirdness around lunchtime today.
