(ROCK SPRINGS. Wyo.) — 29-year-old Steven Sanches has been missing from Rock Springs, Wyoming since February 5, 2026. He was last seen around 12:00 PM at Western Wyoming Community College. Steven is 6’02” and 145 lbs. He was last seen wearing brown pants with a green sweatshirt. It is unknown where he may be, but he mentioned traveling to Colorado and does not have a vehicle. If you have any information on Steven’s whereabouts, please call the Rock Springs Police Department at 307-362-6575 and reference case R26-02262.
Steven used to work at the Morrill Mini Mart, so he does have some connection to the Nebraska panhandle.

Steven is a student in the welding program at Western Wyoming College. Steven does not have a vehicle, but did mention traveling to Colorado. He spoke with his fiance on the phone around 11:30 am, and said he wanted to take a trip with friends to a family cabin in Colorado the next day.
He said it was the anniversary of his father’s death, and wanted to visit the Rocky Mountains to honor his memory. Family members have since clarified that their family does not have a cabin in Colorado.
Some people report seeing Steven getting into a white, 4 door sedan with a black bumper, but police have not been able to confirm that information. He has an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss, so he often wears hats.
