Early morning Hit and Run along 5th Avenue in Scottsbluff. Suspect hit multiple parked vehicles.

Police followed the oil trail and got the person who hit them. Both cars that were hit belonged to the same family.

Funeral escort going up Ave B to 42nd.


Customer at Loaf n Jug taking her clothes off, locked in the bathroom. Police enroute.


Have a male at Morrill Fire Hall with fingers that were cut off by a log splitter!


Minnesota plated purple Dodge Challenger running stop signs and lights in town. Last seen at Staples.


Looks like the cops are on the way to my apartment complex for a dog locked in a car and a noise complaint, says Scanner Admin Tim Gillett. News seems to just follow us!


Possible theft in progress … T Street Gering, 3 juveniles checking car doors trying to get into them.

15th and T. Officer out with the juveniles.

11th Avenue vandalism. Sounds like the juvenile they were holding there.

“He’s running out the door, he’s running out the door!”

A park ranger just flew down M St with lights on heading that direction.

The park rangers are for the monument, but they are a certified law enforcement officer. They respond to assist local law enforcement agencies at times.

Sounds like they have him.

Juvenile in custody.


Parking complaint at the laundramat on 27th. Someone is parked in the handicapped spot and refuses to move.


Shoplifter at Walmart. Got in a gold Dodge Grand Caravan now headed southbound.


Mitchell rescue headed to Monique Ave for male with seizure coming on.


Slide off on I80, taking passenger to motel in Sidney. Law Enforcement is currently trying to direct traffic in several locations of Cheyenne County due to declining road conditions. Be aware of road hazards and delays in these areas.


Just drove home from Scottsbluff to Alliance, the roads are completely ice and snow covered and it’s a complete white out. If it weren’t for the rumble bars, wouldn’t have known I was on the road. You couldn’t even see the railroad lights until you were 4 miles out of town. Please be safe if you have to go out.


3 miles east of Lake Minatare. Heavy snow coming down @ 9:30pm. Been snowing at least 5 hours with 3+ inches on the ground. Stay safe everyone.


SCANNER MEETING Monday, April 3, 2023

Anyone interested in learning more or joining the team is invited to an informational and organizational meeting on April 3rd in Scottsbluff.

The Conference Room is Reserved for us at The Hampton Inn Monday night 7-9 pm.  It’s a room for 100 and will fill up fast!

We will open with a prayer, then a video presentation, and introductions after that. Several of you will be invited to sit on a panel to answer questions pertaining to your area of expertise and experience. We will be contacting you with details if chosen.
