In firefighting, Mutual Aid is the process of requesting nearby agencies to help in the response. A full team effort was required for the central Nebraska fire named the Betty’s Way Fire.
This list compiled from Midwest Media by Melanie shows just how critical it is for all agencies to come together in times of crisis.
A big THANK YOU to all of the agencies, as well as Melanie Standiford, for her coverage during all area fires.
FIRE FIGHTER LIST!!! THANK YOU!!
Here is a list compiled from an earlier post on this page. Thank you to everyone who helped me get names of those who assisted with the Betty’s Way Fire. This list is compiled in the order of names as they were shared. I will alphabetize it later. Right now I just want to give it back to you.
This effort to gather names was prompted by a very kind teacher who has students wanting to write thank you notes. If you see I’ve missed someone on this list – please include them in the comments and I will add them to the list! Thank you all! It’s always a good day to live in Nebraska!
