The Nebraska State Patrol arrested a delivery driver Friday night, prompting several comments from Nebraskans.
“Was it Fedex?” questioned one resident. “I’m still trapped in my house because of them. I’m 64 and disabled. Fedex has known since last night that I’m trapped because they blocked my stairs with heavy packages.”
Another user commented, “Happy that NSP was able to intervene. This was an accident waiting to happen and a medical emergency waiting to happen. Besides the people who would have not received the expected or surprised deliveries. The driver may well loose his license, freedom, & income over his poor judgement!”
We cannot confirm nor deny that it was a FedEx driver that the Nebraska State Patrol was referencing in this post. In any case, please do not drink and drive.
If your deliveries arrived a little late last night, this might be why. Troopers arrested a delivery driver for DUI Friday after the company reported that he wasn’t responding to calls and asked Troopers to be on the lookout.
Another driver came to finish the deliveries.
If you see a suspected impaired driver, call *55 to report it to NSP Dispatchers. #AlwaysDriveSober
