(ALLIANCE, Neb.) — Local authorities were called to two separate accidents leading to one suspect.
On May 31, 2026, at approximately 2:05 a.m., the Alliance Communications Center recehived a report of a motor vehicle accident near the 1200 block of Hammond Lane. At that time, officers with the Alliance Police Department were on scene of a separate DUI-related accident near the 1200 block of West 3rd Street. Due to resource availability, the Nebraska State Patrol was requested to assist with the Hammond Lane incident.
A trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol arrived on scene and located a vehicle with significant front-end damage. Through the course of the investigation, the trooper took the male driver into custody for driving under the influence.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., the Alliance Communications Center received an additional report of a residence that appeared to have been struck by a motor vehicle. Officers responded and observed significant damage to the residence, along with a large amount of debris in the yard consistent with the vehicle located by the Nebraska State Patrol. A fluid trail was identified and traced back to the vehicle involved in the earlier contact.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as William Seebohm, 18, of Alliance. Seebohm was subsequently booked on the following charges:
- DUI – Alcohol
- Willful Reckless Driving
- Minor in Possession
- Leaving the Scene of an Accident
- Criminal Mischief – Over $5,000
The residence sustained significant damage to its exterior walls and foundation. No residents of the home were injured as a result of the incident, and the driver did not sustain injuries.
The Alliance Police Department extends its appreciation to the Nebraska State Patrol for their prompt assistance and commitment to public safety.
No further information is available at this time. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
