Let’s take a look at where some of our harvest crews are working. Seems like the crews are spread out and people are harvesting different things in different places right now.
High Plains Harvesting wrote, “every team is on a different crop this evening. Paul’s group has winter wheat. The team with Breen is in barley. Mark’s group is working on Durham. And the team with Ben is covering chickpeas, all in Montana.”
Looks like they’re up in Montana.
Bar Harvesting is back at it again this week in Mississippi on some corn, while Paplow Harvesting is in the Golden Triangle. They wrote, “these views are the reason why we love harvesting here. Even with overcast skies and smoke lingering, the Highwood Mountains never disappoint.”
Frederick Harvesting said Garrett Theron is at it again, getting through it all in North Dakota. Frederick Harvesting is also working on some wheat in North Dakota, while Beckley Harvesting is struggling with some bad weather in North Dakota and even had a windshield broken.

And did you know, in the late 1800s, hard red winter wheat became the dominant class across the Great Plains thanks to Russian Mennonite immigrants who introduced hardy turkey red wheat varieties.
