(CHADRON, Neb.) — At 2:04 on Saturday, January 12, 2024, the Chadron Volunteer Fire Department was paged out for a detached garage fire with a residential structure at risk.
CVFD responded with 2 city pumpers, 1 ladder truck, 1 crash unit and a command vehicle, as well as a rescue unit. The garage is considered a total loss but there is no damage to the residence.
