Paratroopers Drop In

(BAYARD, Neb.) — Our friends at the Nebraska Army National Guard are so committed to building community relationships, that they are willing to ‘drop’ in!

Here is the post from Nebraska Army National Guard and the link to their video.

“2-134th Airborne Battalion conducts an Airborne jump at Chimney Rock with a strong focus on community outreach. Beyond the precision and training, this jump highlighted our commitment to connect with local families, veterans, and nearby communities through demonstrations, educational briefings, and hands-on safety talks.

Our team shared insights on resilience, teamwork, and readiness, inviting questions and conversations with local schools, youth organizations, and public safety partners. The jump became an opportunity to inspire the next generation, showcase careers in service, and reinforce the values that bind us to the communities we serve.

Thank you to the jumpers and the support teams for prioritizing safety, accessibility, and community engagement. The legacy of the 2-134th soars higher when we lift up our neighbors.”
